The Chinese Government's Gremlins in Google's Works

Friendly to capitalism but unfriendly to democracy, the Chinese government is cracking down on that great engine of information democratization, Google, the Internet search giant claims. Complaints that Google's Gmail email system hasn't been performing up to speed in China prompted Google to level the accusation. Google has investigated the reported problems and said it found no technical glitches.
